Asnani & his family saw in the year 1977, setting up the building blocks by forming a joint venture with M/s Shanghai Light Industry Co. Ltd. for Butterfly branded sewing machine to Nigeria.To maintain the first mover image in the market, within two years, the company become the first to introduce Ceramic products followed by Glassware to the Nigerian people, offering good quality at an affordable price. Extending the traditional business of Trading, the company has today added the new product lines of Flash light, Flask, lantern, Stoves & Building material.
After venturing into hard core domestic need based products, Emel Group has taken a huge step in 2007 to enter into Automobiles, in collaboration with few worldwide Auto giants from China. Today the division is eyeing to be major player with brands like BAW, in the field of Busses. After sales service is backed by fully equipped servicing center, to care for our customer forever.
With the growing demand and needs of the products, Emel Group of Companies has increased its stocking capacity by adding the total of four warehouses so that we can serve our customer better in terms of their demand verses availability.
In the year 2000, Emel Group of Companies has taken a major step in establishing its first factory for the assembly of office Chairs to satisfy the demand of indigenously made chairs for the corporate world which has started flourishing. In this short time frame the company has grown the manufacturing setup for other products including Luggage and Farming products. Today there are three manufacturing units within Emel Group of Companies
